The Innocence to See Past Differences

March 26, 2018

What is it that connects people?  And what is it that divides us?

It might be argued that the only thing that distinguishes us is our decision to see divisions.

Jia Sarnicola and Zuri Copeland are classmates in a Miami preschool who insist they are twins.  Their distinct parentage does not convince them otherwise, nor does the varying color of their skin.  They love one another, and they are connected by, as they put it, their "soul."

In this touching and timely edition of CBS News' "On the Road," Steve Hartman introduces us to these two four year olds whose innocence is incredibly refreshing and edifying in these complicated, cynical times.
